1931 - Entrepreneur Kurt Geiger was born in Austria
1963 - Kurt Geiger opened his first store on Bond Street, London
1985 - Kurt Geiger was acquired by House of Fraser Group
1994 - Harrods maintained ownership following House of Fraser IPO
2001 - Launched new store concept with the first Kurt Geiger boutique in London's South Molton Street closely followed by Leeds, Manchester, Heathrow T3, High Street Kensington and Hampstead
2004 - Opened Kurt Geiger boutique Brighton
2005 - MBO supported by Barclays Private Equity
2005 - Opened Kurt Geiger boutiques on London's Kings Road, Newcastle, Nottingham and within Stansted Airport
2006 - Opened first international operation in Le Printemps, Paris
2006 - Opened new concept store in Liverpool's Met Quarter
2006 - Opened new flagship store on Regent Street in the heart of London's West End
